The ice cream has always been considered only as sweet as a dessert. Until a few years ago you ate only in a very defined: the arrival of the first hot showers in early autumn. The differences between ice creams and industrial are remarkable: The ice creams are handmade products with a slow incorporation of air, about 30-50 percent, during the phase of "chilling" of the mixture so as to thus obtain a creamy ice cream, soft, and despite this, even bodied. The industrial ice cream, however during the "chilling" introduces the 100-130 percent of the air, so that it becomes very soft and light. Wanting to make a choice, of course, is always to be preferred to a homemade ice cream industry, which however is also of excellent quality. Certainly, over the years it is expected that the ice cream will become more and more a food to be incorporated fully into the diet, maybe instead of other desserts too high in fat and cholesterol, thus damaging and high calorie diet. " The consumption of ice cream in Italy is growing! In Italy, we consume a lot, each of us eat on average about 4-5 kilograms per year. Also thanks to the innovation of the packs "family" originally created by large corporations and followed by the artisans who provide takeaway trays and allow everyone to have, however, in the house a certain amount of ice cream. In Europe, most greedy of us there are only the Dutch, while we detach a lot of cousins ​​French, Spaniards and all the others. Good food choice, in all cases.
