Many times it feels confused with Asti sparkling wine with Moscato d'Asti but there are two very different things; the first is a sparkling wine and the second is a slightly sparkling wine but does not produce the classic foam that characterizes a sparkling wine. Moscato d'Asti is a sweet white wine that has been named the DOC.
