ANTICA ACETAIA BOMPANA is located in San Donnino, a town in the province of Modena. Here the Vecchi family, has been producing for several generations, traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena D.o.p., which guarantees the high quality of its products.
The history of the Ancient Acetaia Bompana began in the previous century, when the owners were simple farmers who owned few groups of barrels for family use. But in 1950, a Vecchi heir enthusiast of traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena D.o.p, decides with his father Egidio to open a shop
In the meantime, the traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena matures and the Vecchia family adds different casks and vases, thus enlarging the production. Thus began, a first marketing of the Italian Acetaia Bompana products. Production is increased and several products are included, such as the Balsamita, Seba and Miele condiments. All products are collected in a shop, which is opened for sale to the public.
The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is a condiment obtained from the aging of must cooked inside fine barrels. All without using any other ingredient, coloring or preservative. The ingredients must not contain even chemical thickeners.

Aging with progressive slow acetification from the natural fermentation and progressive concentration of the must cooked in wooden barrels of various sizes without addition of ingredients. Aging 12 years minimum. 100 ml.
