AZIENDA AGRICOLA IL BERGAMOTTO, a biological company where production is centered on bergamot. In addition, grain, olive trees, vines, citrus fruit and vegetables are also grown. It rises in the lands of the Greek civilization and in the Aspromonte National Park.
The company of Ugo Sergi has a peculiar tendency to protect biodiversity and respect for nature. In fact, it has not only made the biologic a choice of life, but also tries to maintain old cultivars of fruits and vegetables. Collection takes place as once, or by hand. The workforce is local therefore does not affect the quality of the fruits. It is an excellent craftsmanship product.
The Bergamotto farm has been in existence for over 100 years. The conduct is familiar and with this we want to continue the tradition as well as the methods of once. From the early 1990s, the company expands and becomes a farmhouse company. Here you will find hospitality with the possibility of overnight and enjoy the products. The restaurant offers typical cuisine with local produce.
The proposed foods are simple with zero-kilometer and seasonal ingredients. We hardly find an a la carte menu as just cooking is what is available. Breakfast is basically based on jams and bread, to try the bergamot and orange jam absolutely.
