AZIENDA AGRICOLA LA CASTAGNA is located in province of Savona, at Varazze, in Via Scavino 1/E. For 15 years, the passion for the land, for the good things that can give and for our work drives us to breed cattle, pigs, sheep and goats carefully selected, in accordance with a wholly Italian agricultural sector, characterized by the concept of a low environmental impact.
Our cattle are fed with mixtures of corn, barley and other grains nobles specially cultivated, stemming from our own land or neighboring farms, which as we have embraced the philosophy of production “Kilometer Zero”.
We believe that maintaining the link with the territory that hosts it, is the only way through which a farm can grow in harmony with nature and typical resulting safeguarding the development of the community, providing work and support.
For this we cooperate with the producers of all the excellence of our area, the hinterland of Savona near the Regional Natural Park of Beigua: dairies, beekeepers, growers, farm, elicicoltori us who work for profit but also for the passion that each day animates them.
This farm is one of the best in Savona Liguria farms breeding high quality cattle .
Parallel to Azienda Agricola La Castagna, runs one of the Shop, a store in the center of Varazze, where you can find all the specialties offered by us or selected from our suppliers.
Bottega Italiana di Danilo was born in the Spring-Summer of 2014 to satisfy an attentive and discerning palate, seeking professionalism of hyper-specialized grocery store, not to mention a special regard for the gentle ways of the “past”.
On the counter and on the shelves of our shop you can then find, in addition to cuts of fine breed Scottona raised in our stables on the hills of the Ligurian hinterland, also authentic delicacies from companies excellent Italian food and wine.
Fresh and aged cheeses, sausages, flour and biscuits, rice carefully selected, EVO noble condiment, fresh organic vegetables, aromatic plants, wine: in the section dedicated to showcase the products we present just a “taste” of what you will find in the store!
