AZIENDA AGRICOLA MORANDO SILVIO, a history for its land, the Monferrato, which strengthens and continues the production of native vines with organic farming. The history of Morando, a history of vine and wine lovers in Vignale Monferrato.
And it is towards the end of the eighteenth century that Grandmother Gaspare is beginning to have a real qualitative and substantial wine-growing activity. In fact, the replacement of the old European vineyards took place, and Morando started modern wine-growing. And the story continues to this day, when Silvio and Tiziana meet at Alba’s oenological school. Today, Silvio and Tiziana run the company’s 15-hectare of vines. Here are produced Barbera, Grignolino and Bonarda. They are the main historical DOC wines obtained from native grape varieties with organic crops. Then there are also foreign vines and wines deliberately without DOC but equally valid and well-maintained.
For five generations, hands in the earth. And today these products are on sale. Barbera del Monferrato Superiore D.O.C.G. , Piedmont Bonarda, Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese, Piedmont Chardonnay and finally Barbera del Monferrato.
