AZIENDA AGRITURISTICA AL CAPPERO, is located in the island of Salina (Is. Aeolian), in the town of Malfa, Pollara. Small village of about 70 inhabitants, located in an old volcanic crater of which is half sunk in the sea. The main source of income is derived from agriculture, especially the cultivation of the caper.
The farm produces and works essentially Al Caper capers and cucunci (fruit of the caper). The latter are well known throughout Italy and, for their distinctive flavor, lend themselves to be enjoyed as an appetizer. The capers are sold in oil or salt.
Among the products available to the customers we want to report a pesto made with capers unique, made only with the addition of natural flavors and called “Pesto Capers Pollara”. Without equal in the world for its flavor, is a welcome change of “Mediterranean cuisine”. Pesto Capers was born for connoisseurs and lovers of the Aeolian cuisine and organic products..
The capers are sold in salt and oil in our Azienda Agrituristica Al Cappero in Salina .
It is also a farmhouse and our accommodation consist of mini apartments with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and terrace. Additionally, at the restaurant of you can enjoy local dishes.
