BRESCA DORADA is a company founded in 1986 in the beautiful countryside of Muravera. And since then it has always grown in full respect of the territory, producing a range of very surprising liquors. The Bresca Dorada company pays careful respect for organic products with the same regard for the area that hosts the company.

The idea of Bresca Dorada was born from the passion for nature, the tradition, the genuineness that moved Enrico and Paolo, founding partners in carrying on a sustainable development, that valorise the raw materials and the local work but that did not waste resources uselessly environmental.

The main focus was on maintaining a low impact on the environment that led the company to exploit almost entirely energy from renewable sources.

In this pristine valley between the sea and the mountains, liquors are produced such as Mirto Rosso, Mirto Verde, Mirto Amaro, Arangiu, Limoncino, Figu Morisca, Matafalùa, Fil’e Ferru.

In addition to liquors are also produced excellent marmalades, jams and compotes of fruit, flavored salts, cream of prickly pears, cotognette, orange juice and myrtle berries. All this with careful respect for organic products.

History of the Myrtle

Sardinian myrtle is rich in properties, from digestive to memory-related ones. In addition, the myrtle as a liqueur, would seem to date back to around 1800, it is certainly many years that the benefits of myrtle berries are known to us.In antiquity, the Myrtle was considered a plant of good luck. According to some Arab legends Adam – driven away from the earthly paradise – he would have brought with him a branch of Myrtle, in memory of happy and sinless life. While the Egyptians adorned it during the holidays. The relationship between Myrtle and the concept of femininity was very close.

Benefits of Myrtle

Myrtle is an aromatic plant very common in Sardinia and Corsica. Generally present within the Mediterranean area, this small shrub belongs to the Myrtaceae family and has long been used for its various beneficial properties. Its cultivation is also easy whether you have a suitable land or a balcony where you can grow it in a vase.
