CANTINA DEL BOVALE rises in Terralba in Sardinia. Unique wines are produced here. In addition to the Bovale, other important Sardinian vines are grown, such as Cannonau, Monica and Vermentino. These wines, as well as unique, tell an island full of charm, culture and history.
In the wonderful Sardinia, in Terralba, a country rich in history, culture and wine traditions, Cantina Bovale continues with the ancient family profession. To know that after about 10 years of winemaking experiments, the Cantina del Bovale is born.
The winery was created with the intention of conserving part of the wine heritage already existing in the territory, as well as enhancing the production. The Bovale winery cultivates and produces wines from the Bovale di Terralba but also from other important Sardinian vines such as Cannonau, Monica and Vermentino.
Here we find a company that relaunches the territory through quality wines, which express the culture of the island. The project is ambitious and well defined. And it is for this reason that we want to preserve and enhance the production, especially that of the indigenous vine, the Bovale.
In fact, it is very important to the protection of old vineyards cultivated with sapling, because even today they are able to deliver excellent grapes.
MAJORALE "Campidano di Terralba"
Intense ruby red wine with a light garnet hint. The nose is fine and complex, has notes of red fruits and spices. In the mouth it is soft and dry, perfectly balanced and with a long persistence.
ARCUENTU "Campidano di Terralba"
Intense ruby red wine. The nose has notes of red fruits and in particular emerge the hints of plum, characteristic of the grape. In the mouth it is soft, velvety, perfectly balanced and with a long persistence.
SABBIE D'ORO "Vermentino di Sardegna"
After crushing and a first cleaning the yeasts are inoculated and the must ferments at temperatures around 12 degrees for about 2 weeks. After fermentation, the wine stops with the lees for about 4 months.
SUSTANTZIA "Monica di Sardegna"
Sustantzia is a DOC red wine, obtained from Monica and Bovale grapes. Intense ruby red wine. The nose has notes of red fruits. In the mouth it is soft, velvety, perfectly balanced and with a long persistence.
