CANTINA DIVINJA is located in Sorbara in the province of Modena, an old farm that dates back to the beginning of 1900 owned by the Barbanti family. Our traditions have been handed down from generation to generation, correct and carefully adapted over the years, in order to improve the product and to keep up to date with the times.
We always aim to safeguard the wine heritage of the area according to a quality criterion carefully producing elegant wines because they are simple. Our cellar maintains high quality standards through an immediate vinification of grapes giving life to a wine of unmistakable, loyal character in all of our tradition, this has made the Sorbara country famous. Our philosophy is that every product we have to be qualitatively unobtrusive, only in this way can we meet the needs of the consumer.
In the cellar Divinja we have a room specially designed to savor our products. Tasting we mean it as a moment of knowledge, pleasure of being together in an atmosphere that makes it unique every moment. In this regard, we organize guided tours of the Cantina with Tastings on weekdays or holidays simply by contacting the company directly.

Some HISTORY of Lambrusco …
Lambruschi wines are a family of vines that have been integrated in the Modena landscape for centuries. From these vines you get a generous and frank wine like the people who live in these lands. It is thus possible to codify three types of similar but distinct Lambrusco wine. In the province of Modena are Lambrusco di Sorbara, Lambrusco Grasparossa of Castelvetro and Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce. They are wines with distinct organoleptic characteristics: a lively and evanescent spum.
Their intense, persistent scent and a rich taste exalt a good acidity compensated in the semi-mouthful and lovable versions of a more or less accentuated quantity of sugars. Lambruschi are easy-to-drink wines, generous in combinations with non-traditional foods, and are therefore suitable for various international cuisines.
With Lambrusco di Sorbara we can even water a banquet.
From the rich appetizer of cheeses typical to cheeses. The lambrusco must be of age not too advanced. Excellent with stuffed pasta or dry, even with important sauces such as baked lasagna, cotechino, salami, sauce, shoulder and dumpling, to finish with “burlenghi”, “spongata” and other sweet emilian specialties.
