CASEIFICIO LA MADONNINA for over 350 years involved in producing one of the most classic Italian cuisine cheese. Parmigiano Reggiano, which is produced fully respecting the tradition, typicality and especially the quality of the Emilia region. One of the most renowned dairies in the province of Parma for its own production of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Caseificio La Madonnina offers customers three different variants of Parmigiano Reggiano for three different ages, 12, 24 and 36 months. That cooler comes with a lactic basis rather accentuated and vegetable notes. Such as grass, boiled vegetables and at times flowers and fruits. This cheese is particularly suitable to combine with dry white wine and fresh fruits such as pears and green apples.

The Parmigiano Reggiano 24 months instead presents with pronounced aromas. You can perceive notes of melted butter, fresh fruit, citrus and dried fruit hints. This kind of cheese goes very well with fairly structured red wines. What more seasoned instead is rich in nutrients and is drier, more crumbly and grainy. This Parmigiano Reggiano goes well with both red wines of high body and structure with white dessert wines and meditation.
