COOPERATIVA AGRICOLA BIO ARCOBALENO produces oranges, almonds, extra virgin olive oil and preserves exclusively from organic farming. The cooperative rises in the generous Sicily. In fact, it is precisely the excellent climatic conditions that give the products from organic farming the special flavor with precious organoleptic properties.

And it is this hilly area of Sicily as well as the ventilated exposure of the land and the total absence of humidity, which make this area particularly suitable for the biological cultivation of citrus groves. In addition, the beneficial influence of the Mediterranean Sea, which mitigates the climate, makes the plants of fruit and olive trees grow luxuriant. In this regard, the resulting products are excellent. The company has decided to take care of human health by producing only organic products.

We are located in the territory of Villafranca Sicula and Caltabellotta. The surface is located at an altitude ranging from 200 to 600 meters above sea level. The cooperative produces excellent oranges, almonds, extra-virgin olive oil and preserves. All products are grown exclusively from organic farming. Here raw materials are produced through the recovery of ancient techniques combined with traditions.

The oranges grown are fresh, genuine and free from chemical residues. The peel is fine and fragrant with blond pulp. Its juice is abundant and the taste is very pleasant. Here we find an excellent relationship between sugars and organic acids. Furthermore, they contain a high content of vitamins and minerals. These oranges can be consumed as fruit, but can also be used in the kitchen for delicious recipes. It should be noted that in 2002 the oranges of the Bio l’Arcobaleno Agricultural Cooperative won Scandiano for the best organic orange juice.

The arcobaleno extra virgin olive oil is a naturally genuine oil. It comes entirely from selected olive groves. The olives are of the Biancolilla variety, which are harvested by hand and at the right point. The pressing is cold. The oil produced as well as subjected to simple decantation, maintains unchanged its precious organoleptic characteristics. An oil that contains unmistakable aromas and delicate flavors. This oil is not filtered and has an acidity of less than 0.5%.
