GATTI PIERO VINI DELLE LANGHE puts its roots in the land of muscat. A vine on which the company has always employed its efforts. The cellar is located on the hill of Moncucco, and it is here that we meet the best Langhe wine producers.
Gatti Piero vini delle Langhe was founded in 1988. It is endowed with a long tradition of peasantry from which it aspires to strive for excellent wine quality. Inside, we find the best Piedmont wine producers. This is the fruit of a careful selection of grapes in the vineyard as well as a careful and rigorous winemaking in the cellar.
The flagship of the Gatti Piero cellar is Moscato. A sweet and sparkling wine with a fine aroma and considerable intensity. Its flavor is fresh and engaging. The ideal combination for this type of wine, are all kinds of sweets, except those made from chocolate. For this reason, they are the best Langhe wine producers.
Since 2000, the company is all female: Rita and her daughter Barbara take the lead in dealing with all processing processes as well as public relations in Italy and abroad.

In addition to the Moscato Piemonte DOC production, the Gatti Piero farm offers a bright purple wine with hints of rose and geranium like the Brachetto. To combine these two wines from the end of the meal, here is a small production of reds. Violetta, a still Freisa , with tannins quite developed, to drink with cheeses and salami. While the other red is Verbeia, produced by Freisa (20%) and Barbera (80%), to match with first courses and red meats.

From the 2007 vintage a new arrival: the Vignot. A passito of muscat obtained from the grapes of a small vineyard. They are allowed to dry on planks and gratings until the end of October and then vinified all in steel. An intense yellow wine and delicate bouquet. To know that the cellar is located a few curves above the village, in Santo Stefano Belbo.
