INDUSTRIA CASEARIA AGROALIMENTARE SERRA is located in Via Del Progresso in Ortacesus in the province of Cagliari, it is one of the Italian dairy which produces several types of cheese Sardinian pecorino working the fresh milk produced by small local companies to obtain products of high quality.
This company was founded in 1915 in Nurri in the province of Nuoro Giuseppe Serra in order to trade the best Sardinian pecorino cheese and Roman initially only in Sardinia and then expand sales throughout the Italian peninsula.
In the 40s it began what is still the main business of which consists in the processing of dairy milk from small local farmers in the surrounding countryside to produce pecorino of excellent quality as well as a truly unique taste.
With the passage of time and with the increase in demand was needed a new home, largest in which it was possible to increase production in a facility that now presents itself with about 3500sqm covered.
