LA QUERCE AZIENDA AGRICOLA stands in the heart of the production area of Chianti Colli Fiorentini. The farm is located in Impruneta and enjoys a total of 42 hectares. Here, vineyards and olive groves are cultivated between tradition and innovation.
La Querce farm is located on the beautiful hill overlooking Impruneta. It is located in the heart of the production area of Chianti Colli Fiorentini. It has a total extension of forty-two hectares where vineyards and olive groves are grown, from which the main products of our land are harvested: grapes and olives.
The fields are cultivated by coordinating work between tradition and innovation, as they limit the amount of chemicals to a maximum. This way you want to achieve the best balance between soil and plant to give superior quality products. The terrain is of a medium-sized clay-like structure, which allows the company to always have water reserves in the soil. Most of the land is facing south, in the vast Sorrettole valley. This allows you to have good exposure to the sun and light breezes during the harvesting period.
The vineyards stretch for about eight hectares and are mostly turned south. In recent years, almost all of them have been replanted with both traditional Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino vineyards, as well as with Merlot, all cultivated with spurred cordon.

Chianti Colli Fiorentini d.o.c.g. The Torretta is a wine with the structure of the great Tuscan reds combined with a softness that makes it appreciate the world. Ruby red color with purple reflections; the nose is large and well-marked, with notes of red fruit, notes of vanilla and spices.

The first vineyard of 2 hectares was replanted in 1999, with a plant density of 3,500 plants per hectare. While the second vineyard of 3 hectares was replanted in 2003 with a plant density of 5,200 plants per hectare. For the other 3 hectares, they were planted in 2010 with a density of 4800 plants per hectare. To know that all are cultivated with cordon sprinkled with plant yields of about 1.2 Kg of grapes per strain.
