LA VALLE DEL PISTACCHIO is a farm specialized in making pistachio products. It is located in Bronte and has been producing excellent pistachio products for over 10 years. To know that the pistachio is a delicious fruit with remarkable beneficial properties.
The farm was born in the territory of Bronte extending for about 20 hectares. Despite the prince cultivation is the pistachio, it also includes almonds and olives. Pistachio is the precious fruit of Etna, with unique and unmistakable organoleptic characteristics.
In fact, the pistachio is able to promote the lowering of the percentage of cholesterol in the blood, thus reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. The pistachio products are genuine, natural and are used as ingredients in recipes or simply tasted, savoring the intense and unmistakable flavor.
The pistachio of Bronte, immediately after the harvest – which takes place in September / October every two years – is dried and then stored. The fruit is carefully selected to provide its customers with a product with high quality standards. It is offered in its various types, in fact we find it whole, ground and in grain. The last phase is the transformation, which gives rise to the production of high quality pistachio products: pistachio cream, pistachio pesto and semi-finished pistachio.

Pistachio is a plant originating from the Middle East. In Sicily it was the Arabs in 900 after Christ who promoted and spread the culture of pistachio. Among the various provinces, it is in the territory of Bronte that the Frastuca (Pistachio) knows its maximum expansion since the rocky soils, favor the production of the fruit by attributing a taste and an aroma that distinguishes it from other crops.
A part of production is destined to artisans, confectioners and restaurateurs, the remaining part to direct sale, pistachio pesto, pistachio cream and semi-finished pistachio products produced and packaged in a craft workshop, with the utmost respect for all quality parameters. In addition to the pleasant and aromatic taste, our pistachio is a real energetic cocktail. Rich in vitamins and minerals, it consists of water, proteins, carbohydrates, ashes, fibers, sugars and starch.
