OLIO MONTERISI has dedicated itself since the mid-nineteenth century to the production of fine extra virgin olive oils. A farm in the Apulian agricultural panorama, which rises in a land that has always been characterized by the cultivation of the olive tree. It is located on a hill between the lower Murgia and the Adriatic Sea, in the municipality of Andria.
The company has over three hectares of specialized olive grove. Here there are 840 plants of the Coratina variety with a traditional plant layout. These plants are ventilated by brackish breezes that indirectly protect them naturally from fly attacks.
A farm in Puglia for several years dedicated to organic farming. Conducted by Nicola Monterisi, who carefully cares for the family tradition of the passion for extra virgin olive oil. An experienced agricultural expert, taster and oil selector since 1996. In 2004 he completed his skills with a master in elaiotecnica. The goal is to enhance its oil with increasingly advanced technologies and extraction methods.

Product collected at the most advanced ripening. Medium fruity with a rounder, less angular flavor with olfactory sensations reminiscent of tomato, aromatic herbs. Less pronounced spicy bitter with thistle and almond predominance. 500 ml
OLIO EXTRAVERGINE DI OLIVA "Fruttato Verde Cru"
Monocultivar coratina in purity, hand-picked at the beginning of ripening between the end of October and early November. Medium fruity with olfactory sensations that recall tomato, chicory and aromatic herbs. 500 ml.
OLIO EXTRAVERGINE DI OLIVA "Bio"
Slightly sweet but savory, spicy, pure, with a clear and pleasant bitter perception and slight astringency, of good fullness and persistence with a light aftertaste of bitter vein, stalk of artichoke and fresh almond. 500 ml.
PATE' DI OLIVE
Olives patè with the addition of Coratina Monterisi organic extra virgin olive oil. Net weight 185 gr.
Monterisi oil is produced exclusively with very healthy olives from the Coratina variety. They are harvested with the right degree of ripeness. The extra virgin olive oil is obtained thanks to a continuous cycle crusher and closed brakes. This procedure guarantees an extraction free from defects and oxidations. To know, that this procedure maintains intact the organoleptic characteristics typical of the Coratina Cultivar.
Azienda Agricola Monterisi Nicola produces four different types of extra virgin olive oil. In addition to a line of creams, patés, vegetables and other delicacies. All products come from certified organic farming, with the addition of Bio Monterisi extra virgin olive oil.
