TENUTA BORGOLANO has its roots in the Alta Val Versa and is known for the production of the best wines of Oltrepo Pavese. Here, from the vineyards the highest quality is obtained and the phenological phases are followed, following the integrated pest method.
Over the decades, the Borgolano Estate has grown from the initial 2.5 HA to today 25 HA, of which 15 HA. The land is exclusively dedicated to the cultivation of the vine, which are located in 5 municipalities up to the Alta Val Versa. While the remaining 10 HA has woodlands, they are used in reserve and their autumn fruits, such as mushrooms and chestnuts, offer the raw material to create excellent recipes and preserves.
To know that since 1992 Mrs. Donatella, who inherited from her grandfather the passion for the vineyard and the wine, is the reference figure of the company. Based solely on its own strength, it has bet on the potential of the vines that speak of its hills: Croatina, Barbera, Riesling and Pinot Noir. These classic vines are timeless, from which, you get the highest quality. Quality is obtained without undermining respect for nature. Furthermore the phenological phases are scrupulously followed, following the integrated pest method.
Here we are sure to find healthy and genuine products, with grapes grown without the use of chemicals and in compliance with the rules of an integrated production. It is possible to book a visit to the farm to taste all the typical wines of Oltrepò Pavese.
Eclectic sparkling wine. Straw yellow color, intense and persistent. Elegant, harmonious, soft with floral notes. Excellent aperitif, it is excellent also served throughout the meal.

Deep ruby red wine. Fruity and persistent with hints of red fruits. Accompanies savory pies, salami, ravioli, roasts, medium-aged cheeses.
SANGUE DI GIUDA "Dandy"
Fine purplish ruby red wine with a clear penetrating, good body and long persistence.
PINOT NERO "Daimjo"
Straw yellow with sometimes pink reflections. Intense aroma, fruity, hints of golden apple and almond. Elegant with good structure, it goes well with starters, risottos, fresh cheeses, fish.
