In the northwest coast of Sicily, a few kilometers from Segesta and in the production hills of Alcamo Doc, where the vineyards of the family farm are cultivated. The native and international vineyards are arranged in rows perfectly aligned with the human hand.
The Antonello Cassarà wine estate is immersed in the greenery of its vineyards. It is in a happy combination of nature and technology in the river district. This place is so named by the cold river, as it lays its ground. Around us we can admire a hilly landscape, designed according to a geometric plot, where human elements blend perfectly with the natural ones.
And it is in this magical area that the dream passes through three generations. Begun since the early twentieth century with his grandfather Rocco. Who devoted himself to the promotion and marketing of Bianco Alcamo. After that, he was sent to Nicolò, who started his wine-making activity in the 1930s with the construction of the cellar.
In the 1960’s, concentrated grape wines were produced in the production of bulky wines. This activity became prevalent in the 1980s, after transferring the plant from the town center to the family farm in the district of Fiume. Today, this is the home of the production of high quality wines: an expression of the production area of Alcamo Doc.
