Carbonia Iglesias

The province of Carbonia-Iglesias is situated in the extreme south-west of Sardinia, including much of the territory of Sulcis-Iglesias. The province also includes some smaller islands of Sardinia, two of which are inhabited: the island of San Pietro and the island of Sant 'Antioco. The third island, the island Piana, is instead a private property and houses a tourist residence. The climate is typically Mediterranean, characterized by wet winters and rainy, and summers are not too hot. In winter the weather gets cooler in the mountainous areas, with plenty of snowfall.
