Isernia

Isernia is situated on a hillside 423 meters above sea level in the center of the Apennines dividing two streams of modest size, the Carpino and Sordo that flow into the river Knight . Summer is usually hot, but not too much thanks to ' altitude, especially at night makes the climate very pleasant. Daytime temperatures often reach around 33-34 degrees but being a city on a hill, the humidity is often relatively low. Autumn is generally cool, but from the first half of November you start to feel the cooler air for the arrival of winter.
