The territory of the town of Lecco has an elevation very variable; it varies from 198 meters above sea level in the lake up to the maximum altitude of 1875 meters of Mount Resegone and it offers the city three areas differently characterized both morphologically and mountainous climate due precisely to the field. The territory of Lecco is well protected by the mountain ranges then from the point of view of climate enjoys the beneficial influences of the lake water. The city enjoys a continental climate, usually accompanied by high humidity, mitigated by the fact its winds having so winters are not particularly cold and summers are quite pleasant. Snow is quite common in winter.
