In Palermo, the climate is temperate mid-latitude with the summer dry and warm winter and cool and rainy. The shoulder seasons are mild and pleasant temperatures. Summer is dry and hot , generally hot and frequently ventilated thanks to the presence of sea breezes; it is not uncommon to hear the south wind , the wind African, although in rare cases, kicking the maximum temperatures above 42° but with levels of humidity that can even drop below 15%. The snow in Palermo is not an impossible phenomenon, though rare and short-lived.
