Piacenza

Piacenza at an altitude of 61 m above sea level is located in the Po Valley. It is situated on the right bank of the Po, between the mouths of the river Trebbia west and east of the river Nure. At about fifteen kilometers to the south there are the hills of Piacenza, the beginning of the Ligurian. Piacenza is the city of Emilia-Romagna with more continental climate, agrees that the winters are slightly stiffer than other cities in the region and the rainfall is greater. Being the city of Parma near the River Po has the consequence that in all periods of the year the climate is characterized by high humidity. In winter appears with great frequency the phenomenon of fog, summer weather conditions are often muggy oppressive.
