The territory Di Terni is wide, and extends around the city of Terni located at an altitude of 130 meters above the sea level. Terni has a temperate climate of the middle latitudes, with hot summers. The city enjoys a classic Mediterranean climate, mild and comfortable during the spring and autumn. The rainy seasons are spring and autumn, mainly in the months of November and April. Summer is hot, humid, muggy and basically drought, while winter is cold and rainy, but with wide fluctuations in the cold and snowy interspersed phenomena of a certain size.
