AZIENDA AGRICOLA L’ALBERO DEGLI STRUZZI born from the idea of the owner, Patrizia Lieggio. The company is known for breeding spawning ostriches. At the farm there are three pairs of breeding ostriches and four pairs of young ostriches aged one and a half years old.
L’Albero degli Struzzi is among the best farms in Umbria. It has about 15 hectares of land, which is divided into arable land with a young olive grove that has about two hundred plants. In addition to this we find a lush vegetable garden with an orchard from which the raw materials are obtained to produce fruit jams and jams of vegetables. To know that the production of these exquisite products follow the seasonality of vegetables and fruit.

ANIMAL BREEDING FROM COURTYARD
The company also deals with the breeding of two calves for the production of beef and milk calves. Laying hens, chickens, capons, guinea fowls, turkeys, ducks, mute ducks, geese, quails, pigeons and rabbits. All the animals that are raised on the farm scratch around freely. They eat only broken grains and alfalfa that the company produces. We exclude the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides to safeguard animal health.
SEASON VEGETABLES AND FRUIT PRODUCTION
Among these vegetables we find, for example, agretti, cabbage, cucumber, onions, green beans, zucchini flowers, aubergines, yellow potatoes, red potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, shallots and zucchini. Finally, the company also obtains other products such as asparagus and wild herbs including wild chard, borage, wild broccoli, wild chicory, dandelion and mustard in the fields.
