Fruit and vegetable production meets the national market through wholesale markets as well as organized and retail distribution. In addition, it enhances fruit and vegetable production internationally.      

The consorzio C.O.P.LA. Was born in 1965 as a consortium of cooperatives. It begins its business in 2004 after merging three historic cooperatives. This has been possible since the boards of directors of the three companies have decided this aggregation to constitute a large cooperative pole. The desire was to face the market better through product concentration.

The purpose of Op Copla Horticultural Producers is to promote and value fruit and vegetable production domestically and internationally. Satisfying at the same time the different needs of wholesale and retail markets. Thanks to the marketing of guaranteed and quality products, the consortium is one of the most important Italian vegetable producers. The cultivation of vegetables grown in Italy takes place at the processing center located in Fondi in Pantanello and the sale of Italian vegetables on national and foreign markets.

Currently O.P. C.O.P.LA. of Fondi, associates about 200 farms operating in the Fondi, Sperlonga and Monte San Biagio districts, while remaining firmly faithful to the original spirit. The present production is about 3,250,000.00 quintals, with an area of about 400 hectares. To date O.P. C.O.P.LA. Is one of the largest production sites in the area and selling Italian vegetables.

The consortium in its interior has a modern controlled product manufacturing facility of about 3,000 square meters. The facility can count on a technical support service. They are employed full time in the management of technical issues, in addition to the application of production disciplines and activities related to certification processes.
